Mad, Mad, Mad for Plaid

There is something so comforting and spirit-lifting about plaid. Thank goodness, designers agree, as one of the more sensible trends seen on runways (and on the streets as evidenced by the photo above during London Fashion Week) for fall was a plethora of tartans. We aren’t talking the 90s plaids of the “grunge” culture. We mean sophisticated tartans on shoes, dresses, coats and everything in between. You can’t escape it. And why should you? Whether you have a Scottish background or not, you’ll want to add at last a piece or two to your wardrobe.
