This week is the first time I’ve noticed a pronounced drop in the temperature. We’ve had some cool mornings and chilly evenings over the last few weeks, but this weekend we definitely entered into some dreary fall days. While I typically dislike the first days of autumn, we were invited to a harvest festival party by some friends, and it actually created the perfect backdrop for the occasion. It was also the ideal opportunity to wear a new long-sleeve dress I recently purchased. I love that it was warm enough to keep the chill off me but still light enough to stay comfortable in the warm house. It also motivated us to find some great long-sleeve dresses for women over 50 – because you never know when the perfect opportunity will pop up to wear one!
