Subscription services are becoming more and more prevalent as technology makes advances. After the last year, it’s hard to find anything that you can’t have delivered right to your door. We even had local restaurants that would deliver mixed drinks to you with a meal throughout the pandemic. Groceries, home goods, meal kits… the list seems endless. That’s why it’s no surprise that clothing is also becoming something you don’t have to hit the mall for; you can have it brought straight to you, packaged like you’re receiving a gift. That’s where Amazon Wardrobe comes in.
Amazon Prime offers many perks for its members that aren’t always utilized. One of my personal favorites is Prime Wardrobe, which ups the game when it comes to online shopping. How? Read on to find out…
How Amazon Wardrobe Works
Prime Wardrobe allows you to log in to your Prime account and access a wide variety of clothing options. You can then select what you want, have it delivered, try it on, and then decide what stays and what goes back. You can tell if something is available because there’s a “Prime Wardrobe” logo for the various items. You can choose up to eight things at a time then a box is sent to you with the items of your choice. You have seven days to try on and choose what you would like to keep and which items you would like to return. Once you’ve made your decisions, you click on the “Your Orders” option in your Prime account to purchase the items you wish to keep, and Amazon will provide you with a return label for the things you decided against. Basically, you’re turning your home into a dressing room and bringing the store to you.
Prime Wardrobe Cost
You’ve already paid for your Prime membership, so why pay more?! This service, shipping, and returns are all free to the customer, and you’re only charged for what you keep. A bonus is you still have 30 days to return if you change your mind after the initial transaction.
What’s Available
The categories include women, men, kids, shoes, and accessories. There is also a large assortment of brands available such as Levi’s, Calvin Klein, AIX Armani, Adidas, J Brand, and Theory. The prices range from affordable everyday pieces to evening-out designer pieces, giving you a wide variety of options you’d struggle to find in another single location.
Here are a few of my favorite pieces that I chose out of Prime Wardrobe.
If it’s time to make additions to your closet, I really do recommend you consider trying Prime Wardrobe, especially if you already have a Prime membership. My test drive was seamless, and I was able to find some new pieces of clothing that I love, all while staying in the comfort of my own home. What’s especially nice about Amazon Wardrobe is that while other subscription services pick out the items for you and it’s often hit-or-miss, you get to make your own decisions and have a better chance of success. So what are you waiting for? Give it a try!
