Preppy
Like Classic Style, but a bit more “done.” It’s all about the collars! The more collars the better. When choosing pieces think about the ability to switch them around in as many combinations as possible, as this style affords many layers.
Below you can see the look we pulled from Ralph Lauren, a mainstay of Preppy culture. Aside from wearing the outfit as seen below, you could layer the chambray under the striped tee for a completely different feel. Or, wear the tee without the chhambray and just the blazer, with some nice navy slacks. Socialite

Boho
Boho ladies are go-with-the-flow women, and this is reflected in the long skirts, the blousey fabrics and the multi-ethnic influences. Layering proportions and textures is key to this style type. Here you can also play with “clashing” patterns; when mixing them, consider the overall size of the pattern. If you have a large-floral print, kick in a tiny houndstooth or plaid. If all the patterns are large or tiny, it just won’t work. Try to have a common color-theme throughout. Feel free to re-visit various eras of fashion inside of this aesthetic, especially the 1960s/70s.

Athleisure
Athleisure ruled the last two runway seasons, and is now here to stay. It’s just too practical to not be embraced. Just about every style type above will venture into Athleisure. Our bodies are changing with peri/menopause and wearing something comfortable that isn’t dumpy is always a desired aesthetic. The great thing about Athleisure is being able to express your personal style through the details. You can even pile a ton of jewelry on top of it and not look ridiculous.
