Wendy Euler started her fashion blog, Goodbye Crop Top, while she was living in Seattle. Now she lives in Bozeman, Montana. “It’s not the fashion capital of the world, but there is some pretty cool stuff going on here,” she says. “They call it ‘Boze Angeles.’ Fashion has a Montana spin. It’s fun and easy and comfortable to be dressed here.”
For the 50-year-old blogger, personal style comes very naturally. “I know my body, and I know what works for me,” she says. “It’s visceral and instinctive, and it’s from the inside out. It’s a feeling. I don’t dress for other people. I don’t dress because someone else has something on. I wear what I wear because it feels good to me.” And what feels good to Euler are simple clothes with influences of Western, bohemian, and the big city.
On her blog, she is careful not to tell other women what to wear. “The shoulds and should nots should come out of the vocabulary,” she says. “[The title of the blog], Goodbye Crop Top, is tongue-in-cheek. It’s meant to be funny, but at times I have been crucified for it.” To be clear, she emphasizes: “I love crop tops. My midsection is pretty fit, but as the mother of three girls, I am choosing not to walk around in a crop top. That’s my choice. But if you are 53 years old and feel good in a crop top, and you are smiling, and you are kind to people, and that makes your soul shine — frickin’ wear one!”

These are from my first photo shoot. I love them because I was excited and nervous all at once. The sleeveless sweater was a big hit and a perfect fall staple. I live in the cuff from Hitchcock Madrona. It goes with everything.
I love camel. It is about as versatile as black. This ensemble is super comfortable and versatile. All of these pieces go with many other things in my closet.
I really love Figue. The designs are so fun, and the fit is good for me. This dress can go from day to night, sneakers to strappy stilettos to cowboy boots. Versatility is so important — especially to make sure you are getting your CPW (cost per wear).
This Giada Forte maxi is versatile, comfortable, and beautiful. I have worn it so much. Pair it with boots, heels, sandals, or flip-flops—and check out @giadaforte if you haven’t already.
This look pretty much sums me up: a good blazer and a good/fun tee. My eyesight is not good (and getting worse), so I like to have fun with glasses. These are from Eyes on Fremont in Seattle. The tee is from MadeWorn. It’s a great source for vintage-looking rocker tees.
Right now, La Double J. is one of my favorite lines for dresses. I see something on its Instagram daily that I love.
Never say never! I said I’d “never wear denim on denim,” and now it’s a staple. A good denim shirt, like this one from Frank & Eileen is a must. I wear it as a shirt as well as a light jacket.
Hats make me feel youthful, and they are also a great way to hide the hair when it’s not quite going your way. This one from Australian brand Akubra is one of my first and one of my favorites. My collection is growing, especially since moving to Montana.
