Fringe Benefits: Spring Fringe Fashion

The New Bohemian  has captured the imagination of designers for spring 2015. The look is an attitude reflected in our choice of attire.  And, the choices are many. The sultry look of the 70’s has filled the designer’s collections with flowing skirts, peasant blouses and flat sandals. But the swishing and swaying of fringe on the runway has embraced the free spirit in all of us.

Adding a dash of fringe fashion to your wardrobe doesn’t mean donning a flapper dress. Au contraire! A clever use of fringe on purses, belts, shoes and even earrings gives you instant fashionista status. Leather and suede (yes, they are important fabrics for spring 2015) are the perfect foil for fringe.  Linear fringe trim is being applied to loose gauzey tops, scarves and hems of skirts.
