I love to work out in a tank top, but not all tops are created equal. I need a top with a built-in bra that provides both support and shape — I don’t want my already-less-than-perky boobs smushed flat. Mesh Patch Tank Top
This top checks all the boxes for me: removable cups, not too long, an interesting back. The mint color of this tank provides the illusion of cool for a hot summer workout. Available at Coovy, $33.
Prana Phoebe Tank Top
It’s not easy to find a tank that comes in five great color combos, is a nice length, and has a pretty design. If a basic built-in bra will do for you, this Prana tank top is the one. Available at Backcountry, $65-$69.
Comfort Tank Top
This no-fuss tank comes in five colors and has good coverage and shelf bra. It’s the perfect basic — and at a price point below $35, you can stock up. Available at Yoga Outlet, $35.
Beyond Yoga x Kate Spade Lunar Cut-Out Tank Top
Here’s a simple and stylish option. The shelf bra does the trick if you don’t need lift and shape, and the ponte fabric is a nice change of pace. Available at Yoga Outlet, $54.
