Picking a planner is like selecting a car – there are lot of different models to choose from, but the overall formula stays the same. People feel just as strongly about which type of scheduling tool works the best for them, and that is no surprise since we are all unique in our approach to creating the perfect work-life balance and increase our productivity.
The price we can pay, as women, for not prioritizing structure and time management, thereby increasing the amount of stress in our life can be life-threatening. Besides, most of the wonderful, successful humans out there swear by maintaining effective time-management, but also instilling gratitude and personal growth along the way.

A few of the Prime Women team have suggestions on what tools help keep us in line, and hope these suggestions set you on a path to prioritizing your future success in the best possible way!
Jenna: “I’m a mix of electronic and physical. But I love journals. I usually keep at least one on me at all times, just in case I need to jot something down. I have a personal journal for notes, to-dos, drawings, schedules, calendars, etc. and another for work related things (right now it’s a steno book, but I plan on upgrading to a something more akin to a classic Moleskine soon. Online, I use Google Calendars/Keep and Evernote.
Stacy: “I’m old school and still like a paper planner so my pick is the Panda Planner. They’re one of the most affordable options for a planner like this. If you’re a first-time buyer, you can sign up for email newsletters, download a PDF, and get 15% off your first order.

Carly: “I, too, use the Panda Planner, which is one of the most-loved planners based on countless internet reviews. I’ve just started it, but this is precisely what I was looking for; it’s part personal growth tracker, part planner. Another plus is the un-dated format. My schedule allows for a few ‘unscheduled’ days-away to break out of the overworking habit, so I’m not ‘wasting’ pages by taking days off from an action-oriented perspective.
They’ve also created a space for Panda Planner users, manifesting a community, and providing resources, like articles related to planning and strategizing. Use code VIA25 for 25% off your order!
For specific listing capabilities, like grocery, or packing lists, I love the Knock Knock notepads! Available on Amazon, each quirky option is super affordable, is 6″x9″-which provides a ton of space to list, and ensures you approach productivity from a joyful expression. The packing list notepad I use, even has a space to note the weather where you’re going!”
Stephanie: “I once had a boss who taught me the power of daily to-dos with only 3 items on it. Focus and get those three things done first and then you can always accomplish more. Sticky notes are perfect because if I have too much room, I’ll go over 3. My full running list is digital, but writing the three daily helps me laser focus. However, I need all the different categories for both me and to hand out to my forgetful son.”
