Pfizer understands how important it is to educate and empower women – and show them they’re not alone when it comes to menopause and its varied symptoms. Their menopause: unmuted podcast allows women to relate to each other and helps them feel like they aren’t alone.
As you might have read from our reviews of their last season, we’re a big fan of the show and are thrilled that menopause: unmuted is searching for new voices to share their menopause stories on their upcoming season. Read more to hear about the last season’s bonus episodes and find out how you could get involved.
Nourishing, Strong, Intimate, and Calm.
Over the last few months, we’ve guided you through the bonus episodes from the third season of menopause: unmuted and covered the wealth of information they have to offer. We talked about the following:
- A Nourishing Menopause. This podcast episode helps us understand how our food choices interact with our body weight and shape and bone and heart health. Our food choices can also affect how our body feels and looks. This episode includes several recommendations for healthy food choices in midlife.
- A Strong Menopause. You might envision weightlifting as a means to bulk up and get Popeye arms, but the reality is as we age, we need to keep our bodies strong to help prevent injury and keep our bone health in check. This episode guided us on ways to help build muscle from the comfort of our homes, and help gain more strength and self-confidence at the same time.
- An Intimate Menopause. This episode taught us how to help maintain healthy sex and intimacy during perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopausal years, by accepting and understanding ourselves at a deeper and more meaningful level.
- A Calm Menopause. This episode offered expert information on managing stress and improving brain health during menopause. So much attention is given to the physical effects during this time, but it’s also important to understand better brain and emotional health as well.
You’re Not Alone.
One pitfall we may face during our lives is feeling like what’s happening to us is something only we experience and that no one can relate. That can leave us feeling alone and isolated.
This is where menopause: unmuted can help. What truly makes this podcast so special is the open dialog that allows the audience to feel like they’re part of something – that they aren’t alone and that there are options. The expert information and frank discussions help us to have a better understanding of our mental, physical, and sexual health as we navigate our journey during menopause.
What’s Your Story?
As Pfizer gears up for season 4 of menopause: unmuted, they plan to continue their mission to help educate and empower women, and they’re inviting you to join them on their journey, not just as an avid listener but as a potential guest as well. They’re putting out a call to action: do you have a story that you feel would resonate with other women? Has your menopause journey taught you things that you think could benefit others? If so, they’d love to hear your story and potentially include you in one of their podcast episodes.
