New Years Eve Party Poppers
As a kid, I always looked forward to the New Year’s Eve party poppers. Once I became an adult, I realized how expensive these party favors were. I knew I could create them for a quarter of the price, and I already had everything I needed in my home.
Items Needed
Toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls
Tissue Paper
Bells
Glitter
Candy
Ribbon or pipe cleaners
Glitter paint or glitter and decoupage
Paintbrush
Directions
Cut the tissue paper to big enough to wrap around the toilet paper roll twice, leaving 2 inches of tissue paper on each side.
Tie one end of the tissue paper with the ribbon or pipe cleaner.
Fill the toilet paper roll with candy, bells, glitter, and anything else you want to share when the clock strikes midnight.
Tie the other end of the tissue paper with ribbon or pipe cleaner.
Paint the outside of the party popper with the glitter paint or decoupage and glitter, let it dry completely.

Trace the circle of the toilet paper roll onto the cardboard and cut it out.
Do step 2 twice for each noisemaker.
Run a pipe cleaner or ribbon into one of the smaller holes and out the other smaller hole, this is for your bells or beads.
Hot glue one of the cardboard circles onto the opening of the toilet paper roll.
put a bell or beads inside the toilet paper roll and hot glue the other cardboard onto it to seal it closed.
Tie a bell or bead to each end of the pipe cleaner or ribbon.
Paint and glitter the noisemaker.
Glue the dowel rod or popsicle stick into the larger hole of the toilet paper roll.
