7 Shoe Trends for Fall 2017: There’s Something for Everyone

A rarely utilized feat in fashion is focused on the feet… Statement Shoes!

Whether combat boots clomping down a silent runway, pumps with sculptural, jewel-like heels glinting, or chunky velvet boots made for walking, there are plenty of statement-making shoe trends from which to pick. And, that doesn’t even take into account the numerous glitter boot sightings that have started.

It’s not just the flashy pieces that caught my eye. I also love the updated takes on simple classics, like Mary Janes, classic red patents and white (yes WHITE) for winter.

Look for shoes that simply give you a boost. Optimism is an interesting word to play with when it comes to fashion. As a designer known for her energetic use of color, I’ve always been a champion of “mood-boosting clothing,” (especially SHOES!) Modern women are pragmatic, busy, and they want to be inspired. I’m all about being unashamedly optimistic and making women smile.
