RedCarpet-Oscars-Glenn Close wears a Carolina Herrera custom gown
Glenn Close wears a Carolina Herrera custom gown weighing 42 pounds from the 4 million beads used in the design.

“Although she didn’t take home an Oscar, Glen Close chose a winning dress. She looked regal in the gold Carolina Herrara dress that had a dramatic train and thousands of Swarovski crystals. Supposedly her dress weighed more than 40 pounds!” -Cynthia P.

My least favorite was Glenn Close.  Way too much dress (they said 40 pounds).  A great example of how to take the cape trend and do it wrong. Plus wearing a gold dress was a sure way to jinx her possible win!” –Jan S.
