Take a look at some of your selfies and see what you think. Of course, this assumes that you take selfies and that you are smiling in your pictures. If not, there’s always a mirror!
Tips for Selecting Lip Colors to Whiten Teeth Naturally
In general, warm-toned lipsticks will bring out the yellow in your teeth. If you want whiter teeth, choosing cooler toned lipsticks work much better. If you are a die-hard fan of warmer lip colors, you may have to go the route of teeth whitening options available, such as toothpastes, gels, rinses and strips. They are affordable, require little time and make a notable difference.

If you like texture or frost in a lip color, choose a white or pink over a gold shimmer. This will bring out the white in your teeth. And if you like gloss over your lipstick, choose one with a soft white or pink shimmer.

One other side note on lipstick and teeth. To avoid getting lipstick on your teeth, take a tissue and wrap it around your index finger. Stick your tissued finger into your mouth and pull it out. All the the lipstick that would normally catch on to your teeth is wiped away on the tissue.
Nudes
Nude lipsticks are the most difficult color to wear. Some can wash out and not have enough contrast to make your teeth whiter. There’s a delicate balance of getting a light color that gives you just enough contrast without washing you out.
I try to custom blend both peach and pink into a color so it will be a more universal shade that is complementary to many skin tones. Pinkberry is one of my favorites and took a long time to formulate to get the perfect nude to pop the skin tone and your teeth color. In general, a pinky nude is better than a peach to make your teeth look whiter.
You can also try a deeper spice color lip liner. Outline and fill in your lips with a pencil and then apply a nude color over it. This will give it a cooler contrast to the skin and teeth, bringing out the white.

Pink
Pink can be both warm and cool. The bluer the pink the brighter your teeth will look. However, we cannot all wear such a blue color. Rose color pinks are the best bet when looking for a pink. Rose has a little brown, red, pink and orange in the color so it is so wearable! Try to look for an earthy pink as a general guideline.

Red lipstick in a cooler undertone will provide the greatest whitening effect on your teeth. Pinker tones or earthier reds are good choices, and orange tones will provide a slightly yellowing effect.

Unfortunately, darker shades in general will make teeth appear slightly yellower. Darker purples usually either lean a little pink or a little brown. A purple with pink tones will help teeth appear whiter than its brown-toned counterpart.

As we mentioned, darker shades can make teeth look more yellow. Choose a brown with more of a pink, rosy tone. This will be your best bet.

In sum, every color can have a warm or cool undertone. Cool undertones are better to whiten your teeth and brighten your smile. So find a lip color that works for you and then, choose a cool undertone to brighten and whiten your teeth!!
