“J Lo in her metallic dress – exuded radiance, confidence and beauty AND she is turning 50!!!” -Leigh R.
“Although she didn’t take home an Oscar, Glen Close chose a winning dress. She looked regal in the gold Carolina Herrara dress that had a dramatic train and thousands of Swarovski crystals. Supposedly her dress weighed more than 40 pounds!” -Cynthia P.
“My least favorite was Glenn Close. Way too much dress (they said 40 pounds). A great example of how to take the cape trend and do it wrong. Plus wearing a gold dress was a sure way to jinx her possible win!” –Jan S.
“Olivia Coleman….the English rose wrapped in a green and beautiful dress, looking every inch the sparkly, fabulous star she is.“ -Jo H.
“I thought her dress was dreadful.” -Peggy J
“Regina King. That white dress was just perfect and it fit her like a glove. Only problem was the train.” -Jan S
“Lady GaGa….proving that adding ‘hips’ can actually be a beautiful thing!! Stunning.” –Jo H
“Amy Adams looked wonderful. Sexy and old Hollywood.” -Tricia C.
“Julia Roberts looked sensational! Vibrant, but not flashy. Classy, but fresh. She wore the dress, it didn’t wear her!” -Nancy K.
“My favorite was Julia Roberts’ dress. It was elegant but understated. It looked great on her, but didn’t detract from her trademark beauty, personality or that famous smile.” -Catherine R.
“Billy Porter’s Christian Siriano black strapless velvet gown under the classic tuxedo top with the adorned cuffs was absolutely stunning. So sophisticated with such beautiful lines! Definitely my favorite of the evening.” -Elizabeth C.
“Tina Fey’s color choice was spot on for her, though she appears to be a little busty for the strapless style.” -Margaret O.
“Maya Rudolph looked to have pulled a Scarlett O’Hara – tearing down the curtains from a little girl’s bedroom for her dress.” -Vicki J.
“Angela Basset’s dress was perfection and she was styled perfect for it. Her face and hair stood out against the pink cloud on her shoulder.” -Karyl I.
“Allison Janey looked regal in her black ensemble which was very sophisticated although hard to see clearly all of the details.” -Valerie F.
“The fabulous over 50s at the Oscars – showing the younger generation how to kill it with style. Helen Mirren and Jane Fonda leading the pack in elegance.” Victoria T.
