Runway: Designers have fallen in love with prints, from abstract florals to strong tribal prints.
Reality: While stronger prints may make fashion news, it’s the pretty floral prints and understandable graphic prints that we keep coming back to. Polka dots are a classic favorite and always look fresh. This season they pop when mixed with stripes and florals. Prints range from vibrant hues (green, blue, pink) to earthy spice colors. Not sure you want to invest in prints you may get tired of? Try a scarf instead.
What to look for: Finding a selection of prints will not be hard to do. Most will fall into one of these categories: Fine Prints, Ginghams, Bold Bright Stripes, Animal, Polka Dots, Geometrics, Tribal, Floral and Tie Dye.
