Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Manolo Blahnik, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, Valentino and Versace

It’s a premier list of “who’s who” among top designers, but just a few of the 600 from around the world are found at the LuisaViaRoma fashion house and on their website.

If you’re on top of today’s trends and know you want nothing but the best, you know the company LuisaViaRoma well. If you haven’t heard of them before, no need to stress. The Italian company is building more recognition in the U.S. each and every day, growing its already very well-known fashion reputation throughout Europe.

The Roots of LuisaViaRoma

Red Dress Cropped

If you want to keep up with the latest trends and wear nothing but the best brands, you’ll want to know more about LuisaViaRoma. This is a brand that’s the very definition of luxury, with designer clothing, shoes, and accessories. Oh, and they have stunning home and design products, too.

Andrea Panconesi is the brains behind the brand: the founder, merchandiser, and mastermind. And it’s in his blood. His grandmother Luisa launched the company while selling hats back in the 1800s. It’s Andrea’s vision that now gives the company heart and soul while keeping it at the forefront of fashion. LuisaViaRoma sponsors and hosts top-tier events in the industry, including the recent 2022 LuisaViaRoma x Unicef Gala that was held in Capri, Italy, earlier this year.

Panconesi considers fashion his passion. You could say it was part of his DNA because his mother and grandmother both ran the business for decades, but it was his savvy mind that took the brand online in 1999, making it possible for the rest of the world to tap into these luxurious brands through LVR. He didn’t know much about commerce at the time but knew people who did, and those people made it clear it would be the equivalent of rolling out the red carpet to his ideal customer, someone with the superior taste to buy the best and the bank account to back it.

Empowered Fashion

It doesn’t take long on the site to find something that will make it on your wishlist. There are coordinated collections of clothing, along with accessories, shoes, jewelry, and whatever you need for your signature look.

When you open the site or walk into the store, you’re immediately met with sophistication and glamor. The brand is clearly trying to reach a young, conscientious consumer these days but never sacrificing the fans who’ve already taken them to the forefront of the fashion industry. Katy Perry was the first LVR girl – chosen for her diverse fashion and sense of empowerment.

There’s even an arm of the brand called LVRSustainable, which is a section focused on offering a selection of sustainable items and brands, promoting collaborations with non-profit groups to benefit social and environmental causes. This is where you’ll find organic, vegan, ethical trade, and eco-friendly goods that focus on women’s empowerment, recycling and upcycling, and luxury craftsmanship.

Even during the pandemic, the company grew, tapping into talent from around the globe. Yet, the focus remains the same as it did in the beginning, to provide not just products but an experience. And I believe it’s safe to say, fulfilling dreams. When you want to look and feel your best, this is the site to come to in order to find the fashion that (politely) screams luxurious.

Welcome to the Winter Collection

Want to see some of the best of the winter collection? These are a few of my favorite things. I bet you a glass of 1973 Dom Perignon, you’ll find a favorite, too.

Designer Deluxe

I’m a big fan of off-white anything in the winter, so this Bottega Veneta leather trench coat grabbed my attention first. It’s made of 100% lamb and has a matching belt. I envision it paired with the Burberry Licia check viscose jersey midi dress. Add the Paris Texas croc-embossed tall leather boots and the Bottega Veneta mini Jodie leather bag, and you’ll be looking sharp and ready for anything.

Casually Chic

Luisaviaroma 2If you want a more casual yet go-with-what-the-day-gives-you look, I don’t think you can go wrong with a gray AG cashmere crewneck sweater. This one is made from soft Todd & Duncan cashmere yarn, and the style features dropped shoulders and a cable pattern. The rib trim gives it a finished neckline and cuffs. The shorter body length is fresher and hipper than your traditional length. The look is complemented with the CO wide-legged cotton denim jeans and the very flashy Khaite Admiral leather ankle boots. Finish the look with the Designer Remix Milano double-breasted long coat, and you’re set.

Absolute Glam

And if you want something stylish and fun, consider this Alberta Ferreti ribbed viscose blend jumpsuit with a belt. It’s the kind of piece that can be transformed for nearly any occasion. The silk blend taffeta shirt with a bow can become part of the set or not, but definitely adds a different flavor to the look. The shoes and the heels are what sell it, though. The Valentino Garavani rockstud patent leather pumps deliver the wow, and the Etro Crown Me printed top handle bag with studs delivers the fun.

Maybe your style varies from mine. Trust me, they have something you’ll want, too. It’s easy to go on the site or in the store if you’re ever in Florence and pair up all kinds of great looks for whatever your needs (or, more likely, desires) happen to be. Whether you’re shopping for winter, spring, summer, or fall, they have something to make you look and feel fabulous. After all, isn’t that the point?
