Slimmer Oil Drops – Purchase or Pass?

slimmer oil drop feature

Slimmer Oil drops can be found all over the internet, but are they worth using? Furthermore, are they safe? Here’s everything you need to know about the products, including reviews and costs.

Disclosure: You know yourself better than anyone else, so please keep that in mind when reading this post. I’m all about giving you the information to make your own decision regarding any product, so please don’t think I’m demanding you purchase slimming oil drops. Just giving you the facts!

Ladies, I’m always looking for an easy exercise or diet fix. And by easy, I mean one that takes very little effort to use and maintain. Slimmer oil drops, if proven effective, would be a diet in a bottle-type of easy that would check all of the boxes above. But do they really work, are they safe to use, and are they cost-effective for the benefits received?

What Are Slimmer Oil Drops?

Slimmer oil drops, also called fat detox drops, use proprietary blends of essential oils. These combinations of oils boost metabolism, naturally causing you to lose weight by bumping up your body’s metabolic efficiency. Unlike a fat burner oil, slimmer oil drops contain only edible essential oils, so there’s no caffeine, tea extract, probiotics, or coffee extract. When mentioned as fat detox drops, the blend is created to combat cellulite.

While researching several brands, I did notice there are a few oils that are put in each brand:

  • Citrus paradisi (Pink Grapefruit) – for a metabolism boost and to suppress your appetite
  • Citrus limon (Lemon) – removes built-up toxins in the body and also helps with digestion
  • Cymbopogon citratus (Lemongrass) – Supports healthy digestion and also gives your mood a boost
  • Mentha piperita (Peppermint) – Reduces bloating and indigestion and suppresses the appetite
  • Zingiber officinale (Ginger Root) – Contains compounds that reduce intestinal inflammation and helps with vitamin & mineral absorption. \

Again with the disclosure: the FDA doesn’t regulate slimmer oil drops, and while many of the claims of each oil are likely, there’s no proof on whether they truly work or not. The only way to find out is to try them for yourself and see.

Also, if you’re pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant, shy away from slimmer oil drops just to be safe. I know it’s probably not your personal journey, but it’s solid information for your daughter or granddaughter. Also, if you do take them and experience any side effects, stop taking them immediately and call your doctor.

How to Use Slimming Oil Drops

Oil diffuser

There are a couple of ways to benefit from slimming oil drops:

First, add a few drops of your essential oil blend of choice to your water or other drinkable liquid. Using them this way will help to satiate cravings, thereby causing you to eat less for weight loss.

Second, add some drops to a diffuser. This is an instant mood boost that can help to stave off food cravings. You can also apply the drops directly to the skin for the same uplift and mood boost. If you’re going with this method, the oil may cause skin sensitivity, so it’s highly recommended that you keep away from UV rays and stay out of the sun to be safe.

The recommended dose is to use a few drops (one to four) with an eight-ounce glass of water as soon as you wake up and then have additional glasses 15-30 minutes before you have a meal to keep overeating in check.

Slimming Oil Side Effects

While no adverse side effects of slimmer oil have been reported, it’s always best to check with your doctor to ensure you get the go-ahead to take them. It turns out that some natural herbs and oils may conflict with the prescriptions you’re already taking.

Reviews

After reading dozens of Amazon reviews, most are very positive but not for helping lose weight (sigh). Mainly, women that are using them really enjoy the scents when used in a diffuser and love how they work for muscle aches and pains when applied directly to the skin. And when it comes to Etsy reviews, they’re mostly five-star ratings, but there’s no description apart from “fast shipping” to help quell any concerns about the use of the drops.

In a Nutshell

I’ve researched slimmer oil drops a lot to give you all the information you need to help you choose if this form of weight loss is suitable for you. When typing in “slimmer oil drops” into Google, every (and I mean every) listing on the first page had EXACTLY the same description regarding its product. So, that either means that companies are copying and pasting their description from someone else or they’re all the same company with different marketing sites.

Personally, for around $30 a bottle, I’d skip using them because, while there are good reviews, they’re not descriptive enough to make me comfortable with using them.
