Would you believe that your brain health affects beauty? Your brain - and how you care for it - affects how we see the world and how the world sees us.
Beauty and brain health; unlock the brain

When many of us think of beauty, we think of vibrancy, youth, health, and connection.  I’m here to tell you that your brain — and how you care for it — affects how we see the world and how the world sees us. After suffering two brain injuries, including one that caused me to lose my sense of smell, I found a way to bring myself back to a fully functional level. In the process, I realized that our brain health has authority over our mood, memory, choices, and success. This can impact our life significantly, including our beauty and youthfulness.

Here are 5 things you can do to take care of your brain and age beautifully.

1. Active Body, Active Brain

When you work out your body, you work out your brain. Not only do you have a healthier and firmer body to present to the world, but studies have shown us again and again that physical activity influences the brain to enhance cognitive and emotional function. That means you can engage with people in a a more emotionally intelligent way and stay sharp into your later years.

Plus, exercise releases positive endorphins that elevate your mood and lower physical and mental stress levels. This is critical in maintaining your zest for life and feeling youthful on the inside and out.
