Introducing the Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser
Radiant, Anti-Aging Results with Minimal Downtime
Laser resurfacing treatments are becoming an increasingly popular option for thousands of women and men who want a non-surgical way to rejuvenate their skin. Many people are bothered by fine lines, large pores, acne scars, wrinkles around the mouth and lax, dull skin. Now there is an easy answer for all of those concerns – the halo laser skin resurfacing treatment!
Before the Halo Laser, those wanting to improve skin issues had a single choice. A “one size fits all,” powerfully ablative laser that could produce good but unpredictable results and had a long, painful recovery time with wound healing and risks of scarring. Treatments were limited to those only with light skin types.
The Halo laser changes all of that. It is the world’s first and only hybrid fractional laser. Developed by Sciton, Halo is quickly becoming the most sought after resurfacing laser treatment on the market and is offered exclusively within the Sciton platform of lasers. Halo is an incredibly effective resurfacing laser that is completely customizable, produces predictable results and has no wound healing risks. Now, even darker skin types can be treated!
- Discoloration
- Sun damage and sunspots
- Uneven skin tone
- Enlarged pores
- Rough texture
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Scars from chickenpox, acne, or past injury
The Halo laser combines the best qualities of both ablative and non-ablative fractional laser treatments. Because it is a hybrid laser, the halo resurfaces both the epidermis (top most layer of skin) and the dermis (the thick layer of living tissue that supports the epidermis) at the same time. Halo laser works by creating tiny holes deep in the skin’s dermis, while leaving the surrounding tissue intact, promoting faster healing.
By using a topical numbing anesthetic and with the laser’s integrated cooling technology, a halo laser treatment is tolerable. Most people describe it as warm prickling sensations. After the treatment, the skin will continue to feel warm, similar to the feeling of a sunburn. This dissipates after a few hours. Redness can last 2-3 days and the skin will feel rough and look bronzed for about 2-3 days more, as the old, treated skin is pushed out by the new cells from below. Makeup can be worn around day five.
“With halo, I can offer my patients a lot of flexibility—we can treat the entire face or target specific areas on the face, neck and chest,” said John W. Antonetti, MD, owner of Clinique Dallas Plastic Surgery in Dallas. “They can also choose how many procedures they want – one or two deeper sessions or multiple, lighter ones to get the same result over a longer period of time.”
The benefits begin to appear as early as five days after a halo skin resurfacing treatment with improvements in irregular pigment and texture visible. This is followed by deep dermal regeneration where new collagen is formed and skin feels and looks tighter and smoother. This improvement process continues for many weeks, which means you can literally watch your skin become clearer and younger looking! The results will last for years to come and each additional halo treatment will continue to improve your results.
With the Halo glow, women and men see fewer fine lines and wrinkles, smaller pores, and less sun damage with better tone, texture, light reflectivity, and glow. All this adds up to a healthier, younger looking appearance. Skin looks and feels “baby bottom smooth!”
