Ann is an investor and community volunteer. She served on the Dallas City Council from 2009-2013 representing northwest Dallas and was the first woman to chair the board of Parkland Hospital. She currently chairs the board of TexProtects (The Texas Association for the Protection of Children) which advocates for legislation to fund child abuse prevention programs and improved foster care and CPS (Child Protective Services). She also does special projects for her family’s business, Robokind, a robotics company that teaches social skills to children with autism and is working toward coaching certification in Leadership Coaching.
