The First-Ever Television Network For And By Women 50+
Launching in 2024
Prime Women Network is an independent, female-owned TV Network that caters to the 63 million women in the U.S who are over 50 and who are seriously underrepresented on television. Prime Women Network is led by co-founders Dorthy Shore, Valerie Freeman, and Jan Fletcher, along with 16 successful business women and investors.
Network Mission
Prime Women Network will be the first ever television network to empower, enlighten, and entertain the enormous and under-served audience of women over age 50. It will be distributed as a 24/7 linear cable/satellite network and will feature mature women in original and acquired TV series, movies, and specials about health, careers, relationships, and other important subjects that all women have in common. Prime Women Network will inspire a diverse audience of urban, suburban, and rural women of all ethnicities, religions, and political beliefs. It will be a vital source of information and entertainment for women, and a non-partisan, unifying force in these divisive times.
Meet the Diversity Advisory Council
Our Diversity Council, comprised of national civic and business leaders, has been established to ensure that Prime Women Network will be diverse in all aspects of the audience we will serve. From programming to on-screen talent to employees of the Network, this Council will help PWN achieve our mission of serving ALL women over 50.
