How to do Eyebrows for Prime Women
1: Start With Shape
Before you begin, use a brush to help find the shape of your brows. Do this by following your natural lash line to the tail of your brow. Mark where the end of your brow will look the most natural at. Then, using the brush start from the side of your nose and go up to mark where the front of your brow begins. Repeat on the other eye. Doing this prep work will ensure your brows are natural and even!
Step 2: Powder / EyeShadow
Once your shape is defined, use powder or cool-toned eyeshadow to fill it in. Rist recommends the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo. Then fill in, using a pointed angle brush with a staccato stroke, following the natural direction of the hair. At the front, this will be upwards. As you move further down the brow towards the tail you will fill in using more level lines. Use the two colors in the duo to create depth.

Step 3: Brow Pencil
After powder using a brow pencil will add more depth and dimension. Rist recommends It Cosmetics Brow Power Micro Universal Defining Eyebrow Pencil. Use the brow pencil to just fill in the natural shape you have created. This will also add texture, creating a more natural look. Using a brow pencil on its own can look a bit drastic so use it after powder for best results.

Step 4: Spoolie
A spoolie is just a little brush with wiry bristles to comb your eyebrows. The recommended brow pencil has a spoolie on one end, or many brush kits include one. Use your spoolie to comb eyebrow hairs into place. First, comb them upwards, then in their natural direction.
This angled brow brush, also has a spoolie on the end.

Bonus Step 4: Help Unruly Eyebrows
If you have unruly eyebrows you may want to do this extra step and use gel or wax pencil to keep them in place. After you use the spoolie, going over the hairs with a wax pencil will make sure they look great all day! After applying the brow wax go back over your eyebrows with your spoolie to make sure everything stays in place. You can get wax to match your eyebrow color, but Rist recommends Nyx Eye Brow Shaper Wax. It is clear so it will work for anyone. Another great option is to use brow gel. This works much the same as brow wax, but will add a little bit of lift. The one Rist recommends,Limelife by Alcone Strike Rich Brow Gel, is also slightly tinted, so it adds just a bit more color and depth.
