Dr. Waldrep says there is good research around eating according to your circadian rhythm rather than the prevailing wisdom of eating within an hour or two of waking. Based on your circadian rhythm, your first meal might be at 9:00 am or it may not be until noon. Along with the circadian rhythm method of eating, there is a recommendation to work toward an 8 to 9-hour eating window that may help you consume fewer calories and extend your life.
Yes, you still get to eat whatever you want. But the meal planner will help you determine portion sizes, balanced food choices with lots of vegetables and calculate the amount of protein you are getting each day which is key to weight loss and staying strong.
