7 Reasons to Join Portion Control PLATE Now!

Portion control plate feature

While there are a lot of good reasons to join Prime Women’s new portion control PLATE, i.e., eating and living healthier, feeling more in control of your eating, sleeping better, etc., these 7 reasons should motivate you to sign up today on Apple or Android.

1. Private coaching.

If you need help to lose weight (and who doesn’t?) Prime Women offers private coaching with the PLATE weight loss app. If you’ve struggled to lose weight, now is the time to take the journey with a health expert that can help you reach your goals.

2. Lose 1/2 to 2 lbs per week* without counting calories or points.

All you need to do is follow the portion sizes and food choices in your meal planner. The work is done for you. We even include fast food choices and examples to follow when dining out to create the perfect PLATE meal.

3. There are no food restrictions.

The PLATE program allows you to eat all food groups, just in smaller portions. You can even indulge in an occasional cookie, cupcake, slice of pie, and, yes, wine. Crash diets don’t work. Overly restricting your calorie intake for even a short time can cause your metabolism to slow. Couple that with an already slowed metabolism that comes with menopause, and you are headed for a heartbreaking scenario. Maybe you’ve been there. You lose some weight, and then you try to eat what you once did, and you gain even more weight than you did before the diet!

4. You will be set FREE from food.

If you are constantly wishing you weighed less, even if you aren’t on a diet, your life ends up revolving around what you will or won’t eat. It’s no way to live. Our goal at Prime Women is to help our target audience of women over or near 50 live healthy, meaningful lives. In an article we published, OLDER, WISER AND ROCKING THEIR 70S – POWERFUL WOMEN IN THE NEWS!, we talk about how women in their 70’s and even 80’s are still full of life, working and contributing at high levels across a wide variety of industries. You can be one of those women, too. It’s never too late to change your life.

5. Eat when YOU are hungry.

You’ve heard for so long that you must eat breakfast whether you are a morning person or not. Not so, according to Dr. Kathryn Waldrep, who collaborated with Prime Women in developing PLATE. Dr. Waldrep says there is good research around eating according to your circadian rhythm rather than the prevailing wisdom of eating within an hour or two of waking. Based on your circadian rhythm, your first meal might be at 9:00 am, or it may not be until noon. Along with the circadian rhythm method of eating, there is a recommendation to work toward an 8 to 9-hour eating window that may help you consume fewer calories and extend your life.

6. Meal Planner

Yes, you still get to eat whatever you want. But the meal planner will help you determine portion sizes, balanced food choices with lots of vegetables, and calculate the amount of protein you are getting each day which is key to weight loss and staying strong. Choose from hundreds of recipes, and more are added weekly. You can also submit your own recipes for approval to be added to the meal planner.

7. Feel Better

Any time you make yourself a priority, you will feel better. Plus, losing a few pounds is always a good way to feel better.
