Last night was the first time I hopped in bed and was immediately chilled by the cold, crisp sheets. It took a while for me to warm up, and when I finally did, it was hard to fall asleep because that sudden cold rush awakened my senses. So, it was time to break out the heated blanket and install it on my bed. I don’t use it all night, but I turn it on a bit before bed, so it’s nice and cozy when I climb in. Mine has a timer, so I occasionally set it before bed and drift off without worrying about overheating all night.
I’ve even invested in a heated throw to use during the day, so I don’t have to run the heater as often. It feels luxurious to wrap myself up in my heated blanket and settle into work without having to worry about the next gas bill being off the charts. If you’re gearing up for cool fall days and cold winter nights, now is a great time to invest in a heated blanket (or two). And if you have company for the holidays, you can treat them to a nice, warm, cozy bed as well!
Here are the best heated blankets in a variety of sizes, fabrics, and price points.
