Carolyn Parker has a successful design practice that has been designing homes all over the world for the last twenty years. She prides herself on attention to details and making the Client’s dream a reality whilst keeping the integrity of the building.
With her unique and admired style, Carolyn has traveled the world and built a comprehensive portfolio of projects ranging from Manhattan apartments, Georgian farmhouses, Grade 1 and 2 listed buildings and barn conversions to exclusive villas in Spain and Portugal. Recently she redesigned the restaurant interior for celebrity chef James Martin for his latest venture, The Leeds Kitchen.
A regular contributor to both television and radio, Carolyn has earned her place as a well-respected voice in the design press, appearing on both Television and radio. She is also a member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) and where she was frequents the interview panel for new designers wishing to join the institute.
Carolyn’s creative talents ensure every project she works on is uniquely breathtaking with an attention for detail that is second to none. Her extensive knowledge means she frequently designs bespoke pieces of furniture working closely with some of the best joiners and craftsman in the county and throughout Europe.

It was this talent for creating individually stylish pieces and commissioning bespoke fabric designs that lead to her recent collaboration with the textile experts Joshua Ellis to create her 100% cashmere collection ‘Carolyn Parker for Joshua Ellis’. The UK produced ‘Carolyn Parker for Joshua Ellis’ range contains sumptuous throws, stylish serapes and beautifully soft cashmere by the meter, perfect for home furnishings and a popular choice for cashmere curtains. Having had international success traveling the world it was her Yorkshire roots that tempted Carolyn back home and inspired a collection synonymous with luxury, quality and style.
Most recently she has launched her luxury lifestyle site www.carolynparkerlifestyle.com where she will be giving the public access to accessories that she has designed or sourced from all over the world.
